Jerram
graduated from the University of Waikato, New Zealand with a Bachelor
of Management Studies, majoring in Management Accountancy.
Jerram
has been working in Chartered Accountancy firms, including international
Accountancy firms through the earlier years of his career, typically
in the role of computer administration and client support, gaining
invaluable hands-on experience in the information industry. He is
currently the Operations Manager for a Computer company specialising
in Accountancy Point of Sale and Communications Systems. Jerram
has been involved with computers for the last 15 years.
Jerram
is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand.
As
the Managing Director of Macrotech and a founding member, Jerram
is responsible for the overall co-ordination and progression of
the company. He has wide areas of interest and expertise, being
involved in all of Macrotech's projects, specialising in Intranet
design, e-mail solutions and training.

Des
Chia
BMS(Hons),
DipCompSc, CA(PP), MNZCS
Des
is a successful Chartered Accountant who provides business and taxation
advice to a wide range of clients. He is also involved in a variety
of business ventures. With his business knowledge and experience,
Des is responsible for identifying potential business opportunities
for Macrotech. He is also directly involved in the design and implementation
of new custom software solutions. Des holds a Public Practicing
Certificate, and heads the team of his Chartered Accountancy practice,
Des Chia & Associates. He is a member of the College
of Chartered Accountants of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of New Zealand.
Des
holds a Bachelor of Management Studies degree with Honours from
the University of Waikato, New Zealand where he majored in Accountancy
and Computer Science. His interest in computer science was further
enhanced with a graduate Diploma in Computer Science from the University
of Waikato.
Specialising
in database design and system development, Des has designed and
developed systems for clients. He has extensive experience with
a wide range of programming languages and database management systems.
As
a professional in public practice, Des is required to abide by the
Code of Ethics of the governing bodies, and is required to keep
his knowledge up to date. He is also a full member of the New Zealand
Computer Society.
Des
spent the early years of his career working for an International
Accountancy firm where he quickly progressed to the position of
Associate. Des was responsible for the Computer section, in addition
to being responsible for his own accounting clients. Des maintained
and developed in house systems as well as selected, developed and
implemented a wide variety of systems solutions for clients.
Des
is a dedicated and caring professional, not only to his clientele,
but also to his staff. He participates in a variety of social sports.
He delights in the challenge of the sport and is always sharpening
his skills as he plays. He has a great sense of humour and is a
very loyal individual.

Ross
Oliver
B.C.M.S.(Hons),
M.C.M.S.
Ross
Studied at the University of Waikato and graduated in 1995 with
a Bachelors degree of Computer and Mathematical Sciences with honours,
majoring in software engineering. Awarded a University scholarship,
he studied for another 2 years, graduating with a Masters degree
in Computing and Mathematical Sciences in 1997.
Ross
was employed by the University of Waikato as a part time research
assistant during the course of his masters program. During this
period he developed Human Self Motion and Perception simulation
software for Dr John Perrone. His Masters thesis gave a descriptive
analysis of the implementation of this software. Within this period
Ross also developed statistics packages for teaching and wrote 3d
simulation software for driving safety research supervised by Dr.
Robert Isler.
From
late 1997-early 1998, Ross worked at a digital design studio, where
he became experienced at drum-scanning, PhotoCD scanning, image
enhancement and digital prepress. Ross then returned to the University
to carry on with driving safety research and developing more teaching
packages including web site design and maintenance.
Ross
joined Macrotech in 1999 as Senior Software Engineer. Current research
involves writing software packages for accounting and taxation purposes
with database and multiple user connectivity. Ross has a strong
interest in database/ web interruption and how this model can be
adapted in the corporate sector. Ross's area of expertise within
Macrotech is custom software design/implementation and database
administration.

Tim
Clulow
Dip. Aud Eng
Tim
holds a Diploma of Audio Engineering from the School of Audio Engineering
in Auckland, New Zealand.
Since
completing his Diploma, Tim has worked as a graphic designer and
web author for Macrotech during this period. Tim has successfully
completed web pages for various clients from a wide range of industries.
Tim
has a long standing background in Art and Design, and has extensive
experience in various graphic design software. Outside Macrotech,
Tim has a strong interest in music.
Tim
is the webmaster for Macrotech and has the responsibility of co-ordinating
the web design team.
